2.5 Call-Out Fees

  • A call-out fee applies for attendance, inspection, and diagnosis.

  • This fee is payable even if the work cannot be completed due to circumstances outside the Company’s control.


2.6 Access to Property

The Customer must ensure:

  • Safe and reasonable access to all areas requiring work

  • Pets and children are kept clear of work areas

  • Dangerous or unsafe environments may result in service refusal or extra charges


2.7 Materials & Parts

  • All materials supplied remain the property of the Company until full payment is received.

  • No guarantee is provided on materials supplied by the Customer.

  • Customer-supplied parts may affect workmanship warranty eligibility.


2.8 Workmanship Guarantee

We provide a 12-month workmanship guarantee, excluding:

  • Customer-supplied materials

  • Pre-existing system faults

  • Sludge, corrosion, scale, inadequate water pressure

  • Misuse, tampering, or third-party interference

Manufacturer warranties apply to new products installed.


2.9 System Limitations

We are not liable for:

  • Failures caused by historic installations

  • Corrosion, sludge, blocked pipework, frozen components

  • System failures outside the scope of the work performed


2.10 Payment Terms & Conditions

1. Quotations & Agreement

All quotations issued by Flow Solutions Plumbing & Heating Services Limited are valid for the period stated on the quotation unless otherwise specified.

Upon acceptance of a quotation, an invoice and/or formal agreement document will be issued to the customer for review and signature.

By signing and returning the agreement, the customer confirms acceptance of:

2. Variations, Discounts & Customer Instructions

  • Amendments to the scope of works

  • The use of customer-supplied materials

must be agreed in writing prior to commencement of works.

Where works are carried out at a discounted rate or reduced specification, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:

  • Certain warranties, guarantees, or liability cover may be reduced or rendered void

    • Discounted works

    • Reduced specifications

    • Customer-supplied materials

3. Payment Terms

Payment is due immediately upon completion of the works, unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to commencement.

Accepted methods of payment include:

Receipts will be issued for all cash payments.

Failure to make payment in accordance with these terms may result in:

  • Late payment charges being applied in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 (where applicable)

  • Referral of the outstanding balance to a debt recovery agency, with all associated costs recoverable from the customer


4. Non-Payment & Documentation Withholding

Flow Solutions Plumbing & Heating Services Limited reserves the right to withhold the following until full payment has been received and cleared:

  • Certificates

  • Warranties

  • Commissioning documents

  • Compliance paperwork

  • Aftercare or ongoing support


5. Acceptance of Terms

By signing or accepting any quotation, invoice, or agreement issued by Flow Solutions Plumbing & Heating Services Limited, the customer confirms that they have:

  • Read

  • Understood

  • Agreed to

these Payment Terms & Conditions in full.


2.11 Cancellation Policy

  • Customers have a 14-day cooling-off period for non-emergency bookings.

  • If work begins within the cooling-off period at the Customer's request, charges apply for labour and materials already used.

  • Emergency and urgent work waives the cooling-off period automatically.


2.12 Liability & Limitations

We are not liable for:

  • Structural weaknesses or defects discovered during work

  • Damage resulting from outdated, unsafe, or non-compliant installations

  • Losses arising from neglect, misuse, or third-party actions

Our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted under UK law.

Our engineers will not work in unsafe environments.
Unsafe conditions may result in cancellation, delays, or additional costs.
